Is There A Real Secret To Success?
It was over a year ago and I was watching the Oprah show and the subject was on The Secret, a book that claims to contain special information that was handed down through the ages, highly coveted, hidden, lost, stolen, and bought for incredible amounts of money.
Now this super old Secret has been used by some of the most successful and influential people of all time: Einstein, Carnegie, Edison, Beethoven, Galileo, Plato- right along with many other inventors, great thinkers and people.
I saw the Secret on the Oprah show Feb. 8, 2007. I was captivated by the show and the information I got from it. I had to own The Secret. I went to Wal-Mart and purchased a copy of the book. I had ordered the DVD also but it was not at my house yet. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the information.
I read the book and watched the DVD(after I got it) and put into practice what was described. Things totally started to change but not the way I had expected. One month after I saw The Secret on Oprah the company I worked for shut down and moved out of the country. I was in the middle of working on my business degree online while working at my job before they laid me off. I know that does not seem positive but just hold on…
I qualified for retraining and my wife suggested massage therapy. I think she wanted me to rub her back. I was interested in the wellness industry so I gave it a go. I just kept on reading and watching The Secret!
Now a year later….I am a professional massage therapist with a business degree and getting ready to go to work at a nationally recognized spa. I will blog more about the spa later. I started BloggingForBillions.com and MassageAlumni.com(a social networking site for massage professionals) I can’t believe what all has happened since I started using The Secret.
My wife has also done much better also. She is working on her Bachelors degree in Psychology while writing her own successful blog called CrochetCastle.com.
I am excited to see where we will be in another year….and I am thinking, not bad for two kids who quit high school and got married at 18 years old.
