What Is Your Blog Worth To You?

 BloggingForBillions.com is a very exciting project right now and each day we are growning. There is so much that still needs to be done and each day is filled with a new objective.

In doing some research on the blogosphere and looking to find how much great blogs are worth I found out how much BloggingForBillions.com is worth. I went to a web site called Dane Carlson’s Business Opportunity Weblog that provides a tool to find out what your blog is worth. All I did was type in our domain and click enter. I was not suprised to find out the value of our blog right now. Since we have not begun to monetize the blog yet we are not worth anything according to the tool.

Now let me explain that this does not mean that our blog is not worth anything to us. BloggingForBillions.com is worth billions to us because it is ours that we share with everyone else through our posts.

We are just getting started and we will just be getting started for as long as we possibly can. How do you feel about your blog today? How much is your blog worth to you? Do you write about the things that get you pumped up or are you feeling like throwing in the towel?

I would lilke to encourage you to a renewed sense of excitement about your blog. Your blog is important to the industry and it is valuable to the blogosphere. Stop and think why you started your blog to beging with. Remember that excitement you felt the first time you made a post and received a comment?

If you don’t like how your blog is going just remember that you have the power to change it. Get some paper out and rewrite your goals with your blog. Do some redecorating and visit some great blogs that are out there doing what they love. Stir up the passion in your blog. It is there for the taking and if you don’t take it then someone else will. What do you say?

No matter what your blog may be worth in dollar amount, it should never be more than what it is worth to you or your company. Get back to blogging basics and ask yourself how much your blog is really worth.
